Terms

Kerb is an independent peer-to-peer car marketplace. It is not affiliated with Turo or any rental-car brand. By using Kerb you agree to these terms.
Hosts
Hosts remain responsible for their vehicle, insurance, registration, and local rules (including Québec SAAQ requirements where they apply). Listing a car does not transfer those duties to Kerb. You may pause a listing at any time; existing confirmed trips stay in force unless the guest cancels.
Guests
Guests agree to return the car as they found it, on time, and to follow the host’s pickup notes. Tickets, tolls, fuel, and damage beyond the selected protection plan are the guest’s responsibility.
Fees and payouts
Kerb charges a 12% guest fee on the trip subtotal (rental + protection). Hosts receive the daily rate × days. Protection plans are described at checkout and are not a substitute for insurance required by law. After you publish, guest payments run through Stripe Checkout. Host bank payouts require connecting Stripe on the live site; until then the host dashboard is the earnings ledger.
Cancellations
Guests may cancel a confirmed or pending trip from the trip page. Preview bookings are not charged. Live Stripe charges follow Stripe’s refund tools — contact [email protected] if you need a refund after publish.
